    3. Bioassay and toxicity of peticides (From 1994 till 1/12/2002) Consultant at Ministry food supply , central laboratory.
      Where I am in charge of training and supervising the staff of pesticides residues laboratory.

    1. (From 1991 till now) I am Associated professor at faculty of agriculture, Damacus University and responsible for teaching courses in pesticides science ( bioassay , toxicology and chemistry of insecticides) to 4th and 5th year students.
    2. (From 1-1-2003) Director of Plant Protection Dept. at Ministry of Agriculture.

    1. Research on pesticide toxicity and residues in food, water and soil under Syrian climate. Pesticide lab. Dept. of plant protection Damascu University.
    2. Member of chemical safety committee, Ministry of Environment.
    3. Member of technical and scientific committee for public health insecticides, Minitry of health.
    4. Member of the supreme consultative committee of pesticides, Ministry of agriculture.
    5. Member and technical consultant of the committee formed by Ministry of agriculture for Disposal of Obsolete, unwanted and banned pesticides stocks in Syria.
    6. Head of agrochemical and public health insecticide working group for preparing a National Profile to asses the national infrastructure for management of chemicals.from 1/2002 till the end of the project 8/2002.
    7. FAO National consltant for forthcoming SPPD inventory project (November 2002, january 2003).

  • Current Research:
    1. Currently we are conducting four research projects on esticide Residues at university pesticide residues Lab.
      Three of those researches are with my post graduate student (one Ph.D. and two MSC research student).
    2. Detection of Organo-chlorine insecticides residues in soil and water of rural area of Damascus, which some of those result has been published in Scientific journal of Damacus university.
