Abstract
The effect of leaves of Punica granatum extract on the 4th instar larvae of the black cut worm, Agrotis ipsilon (Hüfn.) was studied. Ethyl alcohol was used as solvent. Effect of plant extract on the larval and pupal duration and pupal weight were evaluated. Also, the effect of extract on activity of acetylcholinesterase (AchE), amino acid, transfesrases (GOT, GPT) and total protein was studied.
