Survey And Seasonal Occurrence Of Some Neuropeteran Species In El-Beida City, Libya

Abstract
Light trap was used for collecting neuropteran species in El-Beida City, Libya, during the period 2000 - 2002. Nine species were recorded, including four species of family Chrysopidae, three species of Mymeleonidae, and one species for each of the families Ascalaphidae and Hemerobiidae. Also the occurrence periods of six neuropteran species namely, Chrysoperla carnea, Mallada sp., Parachrysopa pallescens, Hemerobius sp., Creoleon aegyticus, Chrysopa sp. were studied. These periods ranged between 4-8 months.
