Integrated Management Of Cotton Damping Off Under ýIntercropping With Some Winter Cropsý ýý ýý

Abstract
This study indicated that in all states, intercropping cotton with wheat ýincreases the rate of infection with damping off followed by intercropping cotton ýwith faba bean, while intercropping cotton with onion and garlic gave the lowest ýincidence of cotton damping off. The rate of infection with cotton damping off was ýless on the West side than on the East side of the ridge. Using seed dressing ýdecreased the rate of pre– and post–emergence damping off, while the Homia 80 ýand Benlate 50 gave the highest rate of plants survival followed by Vitavex, Captan ýand Rizolex T50. Using two isolates of T. harzianum and two isolates of ýýTrichoderma viride decreased the rate of infection with cotton seedlings ýdamping off. T. harzianum was most effective in controlling damping off ýcompared with T. viride.ý
