Integrated Management Of Rotylenculus ýReniformis Infecting Sunflower
By Using Chicken ýManure, Hirsutella Rhossiliensis And Oxamylý ýýýý

Abstract
The effect of poultry manure singly or integrated with the fungus
ýHirsutella rhossiliensis and/or Oxamyl nematicide on sunflower plant
infected ýwith Rotylenculus reniformis was evaluated under greenhouse
conditions. ýResults indicated that most treatments tested caused an increase in
plant growth. ýThe application of poultry manure singly or mixed with one or two
other ýcomponents showed significant increase in shoot length and fresh weight
of ýsunflower plant. Poultry manure plus Oxamyl treatment gave the highest
increase ýin whole plant fresh weight as compared to poultry manure plus H.
ýrhossiliensis only. Highest reduction in the renifrom nematode population
ýdensity on sunflower plant was achieved by the application of poultry manure
plus ýOxamyl (71.24%) followed by poultry manure mixed with H.
rhossiliensis ýplus Oxamyl (70.84%) and poultry manure alone (62.14%).
Moreover, a ýsignificant reduction in egg-mass numbers was evident between all
treatments in ýrelation to either nematode or wheat grains.ý
