Abstract
The present study conducted at special farm , using 240 lohman chicks of broiler .The previons chicks devided in to 4 groups , each group included 60 ursexed chicks .The type of experimental rations feed to the mentioned groups were as following :
- First group : provided by mash ration type during both first and second venring stage ( from 1-49 days old ).
- Second group : provided by mash type during first stage,(1-24 days old),and fed pelleted ration type during the second stage (from 25-49 days old).
- Third group : provided by pelleted type during first stage (1-24days old), and fallowed by mash type during second stage (25-49 days old)
- Fourth group : provided by pelleting ration only during both first and second stages (1-49deys old)
Body weight , weight gain, feed consumption, feed converstion and mortality rate were studied that the chicks of fourth group which feed pelleting ration during whole time of trial, surpassed signihcantly (P>0.001) chicks of first group in live body weight character, by a bout 6.8 %.
Also, chichs of second and Third groups achieved better weight gain when compared to first and third group chicks, and recorded higher percontags by about 3.63 and 3.46 % , respectively(P>0.001)
In respect of feed conversion, second ,third and fourth groups recorded 2.06, 2.04, and 1.97 kg feed/kg live weight, respectively, compared to first group(2.13) This mean that the previons groups surpassed the last group in feed conversion ratio by about 3.06, 4.04, and 7 % respectively group regarding to net revenue . |
