A Research on The death of White Grouper (epinephelus aeneus) Occuring Along The Turkish Coast of Eastern Mediterranean.

Abstract
White Grouper ( Epinephelus aeneus ) is one of the most important commercial fish species of the Mediterranean. It has been in the red list of IUCN since 1996, because it is considered as endangered species. Dead of faint individuals of the species found along the Turkish Coast of Eastern Mediterranean, especially in summer, support this opinion.
Therefore, this study was carried out between 1998 - 2000 in oerder to search possible reasons of the death of this species. There was no any etiological agent obtained in parasitological, mycological, bacteriological and histopathological examinations. It is assumed that the probable reason of this event is hydrological.
