  • Professional experience:

    Since December 1998, I am in charge of the molecular characterization laboratory at Genetic Resources Unit, ICARDA, Syria as postdoctoral fellow from1996-1998 and as Research Scientist since 1999. My duties include:

    1. Crop improvement and sustainable development for poor countries
    2. Strengthening capacity of national programs for better use of genetic resources (ex situ and in situ conservation)
    3. Management of molecular laboratory to Genetic Resources Unit at ICARDA.
    4. Transfer of biotechnology.
    5. Biodiversity of cereals and legumes.
    6. Supervising Master and PhD students.
    7. Individual and Group training course from National Agricultural Research Center
    8. Collaboration with national programs.
