Development Of A Simplified Procedure

Abstract
It is very important to develop the Jordanian Badia mainly by collecting the rainfall in these areas through a system of man-made storm water storage basins. This water can be used later for pasturing in the rangeland, irrigation, domestic water use, as well as other uses.
The research involve an analysis of a 15 hears rainfall precipitation data available for many Syrian regions with variety of climates(costal, semiarid and arid). A comprehensive mathematical design model is developed based on the analysis. Moreover, rainfall design models are selected, based on categorizing the rainfall precipitation into three Categories(T1, T2, T3) for different values of frequency(n).
The research concluded with the runoff coefficients charts and design charts for storm water storage man-made lakes. These charts can be applied to regions that has a climatic conditions similar to the Syrian such as the Jordanian Badia regions, by verifying the Jordanian Badia Conditions by analyzing the rainfall precipitation and runoff data collected for many years, once available.
Moreover, the study included the structural and construction details related to the storm water storage man- made lakes.
