Sewage Water Disposal Through Submarine Outfalls.

Abstract
Seas and ocean play an important role in disposal of sewage water being an optimal solution of elimination of its pollutants within few days. This paper contrasts between conventional treatment methods and treatment through submarine outfalls, whereas the latter guarantees having no negative impact on human utilization of the sea and its organisms, with the consideration of the outlet structure, economic conditions, maintaining the good quality of the sea and all water resources in general, analysis
Of disposal location properties , waste components properties, fluid mechanics particularly in the mixing and transport of the discharged wastes, and calculation of
initial dilution process.
The coastal city of Lattakia has been taken as a case study for application in accordance with the results of samples analyses, organic and bacterial measurements of its seawater and sea currents for the purpose of determining the optimal location of the intended submarine outfall for the city sewage water disposal.
