Abstract

Present study revealed that I. lutea leaves crude terperoids, alkaloids, and phenols affected some biological aspects of B. germanica females. Female productivity was reduced from 37.5 to 15.7 individual /females, at the concentrations of 0-2 mg/ml of crude alkaloids. Female productivity was reduced to lesser extend with terpeniods and phenols. The developmental period of immature stages was extended from 39.2 to 64.6 days, due to the application of crude alkaloids. Adult longevity was increased about 1.5 times as compared with control. Food utilization efficiencies AD, ECD, and ECI, were severely affected due to the application of and alkaloids and phenols. Development deformalities were observed
