  2. البحث العلمي :
     أ - إجراء الدراسات المسحية حول حدوث وتوزيع نيماتودا النبات على المحاصيل المختلفة .
     ب- تقييم تأثير عوامل البيئة على أعداد نيماتودا النبات في الحقل .
     ج‌- دراسات حول العلاقة بين النيماتودا والعوائل النباتية ، متضمنا أيضا القدرة الامراضية والتشريحية على النباتات.
     د‌- مكافحة النيماتودا المتطفلة على النباتات ، وبخاصة نيماتودا تعقد الجذور على محاصيل الخضراوات والأشجار المثمرة باستخدام الطرق الكيماوية والمزرعية والأصناف المقاومة
     والطرق الفيزيائية . هـ- مؤخرا، جرى التركيز على استخدام الطاقة الشمسية قبل الزراعة وبعد الزراعة لمكافحة آفات التربة على الأشجار المثمرة .
     
  3. الأشراف على طلبة الدراسات العليا : الإشراف على 20 طالب لدرجة الماجستير وطالبين لدرجة الدكتوراه ( برنامج تم فتحه مؤخرا ) . تتطلب الدراسات العليا كتابة الرسائل الجامعية
