• الأبحاث ومجالاتها:
  1. من 1985-1988: - انشاء خريطة أنزيمات التحديد لنبات عباد الشمس ومقارنتها مع الأنواع التابعة لنفس الجنس. تضمن العمل تطبيق عمليات التهجين الجزيئي واستنسال الوحدة الريبوزومية ورسم خريطتها التفصيلية.
  2. من 1992-2007 : - استخدام التقانات الحيوية (RFLP) في توصيف أصناف من الحمص.
     
     - تقدير البعد الوراثي في الشعير باستخدام تقانات الـ RAPD, RFLP .
     - تقدير التنوع الوراثي في مجموعة محورية من الشعير باستخدام تقانات الـ RAPD, AFLP, STMS
     - تقدير التنوع الوراثي في مجموعة محورية من الحمص باستخدام تقانات الـ RAPDو STMS
     - تقدير التنوع الوراثي في الصنوبر المتواجد في سوريا باستخدام تقانات الـ RAPD, AFLP
     - البحث عن مؤشرات جزيئية مرتبطة بصفة المقاومة لحشرة السيتونا في العدس
     - دراسة العلاقات الوراثية ضمن العائلة البقولية عن طريق المؤشرات الجزيئية.
  3. تحديد مورثات الدهيدرين المعنية بالمقاومة للجفاف في بعض طرز الشعير.
  4. توصيف جزيئي لبعض أصناف الزيتون.
  5. التباين الوراثي في مجموعة الشعير السورية الاردنية باستخدام مؤشرات المايكروساتوليت
  6. - عدم التوازن في تعبير القرائن من خلال الـ SNPs.
